Seeley x Higgins Pups Day 27 (Movin' On Up!)
Pups have relocated to the "Pen" in the living room, and are loving it. Now they are in the middle of all the family and big dog action, and getting lots of attention. Visitors have started coming, and there is lots of socialization going on. The pups are getting their fill of both Mom's milk and "puppy gruel", which both pups and Seeley appreciate. I was able to do a quick visit yesterday, and am pleased with the temperaments of these pups. So far, they seem very calm and even keel, though, as always, there will be a pup that gets a wild hair and starts stirring things up, which is always fun to watch.
Weights today: I have found that once the pups start eating more "gruel" they really start to gain weight. It will be interesting to see how these pups grow. Right now, they are very similar in weight to the litter of nine puppies produced by their Great Grandma Zuzu. Those pups ranged between 55 (lightest female) -80 pounds (largest male) as adults.
