Laughing Mountain Chinooks is nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains, in Boulder, Colorado, and is the home of Moonshadow, and Forest.  It is the perfect place with fresh air, blue skies, lots of hiking trails, cold winters, and sometimes, toasty summers.

 

We came upon the Chinook breed, like many do, by pure accident.  We were looking for a dog that was a great outdoor companion, but mellow enough to be content just hanging out if needed.  The Chinook has been the perfect fit for us.  Generally easy to train, eager to please, and doesn't require a lot of grooming (unless you happen to own a long-coated Chinook).
